I recently froze the tofu and then defrosted it and then drained it and I was able to press it down a lot more (between 2 plates) than I would have been able to without freezing first. Also, another simple recipe similar to this is using extra virgin olive oil instead of coconut oil to make it taste like 'fried chicken'. :)
Thanks Johanna! I've heard of that method but haven't tried it yet with the boys. They actually prefer to eat tofu pressed and raw! Crazy!
